What We Do

Crofton Meadows HOA Board of Directors would like to take a moment to inform homeowners of the role that the association plays in your community. Hopefully this will help you to better understand the association’s expenses as well as what is provided to you, the homeowner, on a yearly basis. Crofton Meadows is considered an umbrella association comprised of 12 sub-associations and has the role of governing and maintaining the community’s common areas. The Board realizes that often times it can be difficult to determine how your sub-association differs from Crofton Meadows, and what expenses and services your assessment payments cover.

To help answer any questions that you may have about Crofton Meadows HOA responsibilities, here are the main areas of maintenance and upkeep: the lake and walking path around it, several tot lots, much of the common area lighting, maintenance of the lake itself to include trash removal and buffer vegetation planting for water cleanliness, facilitation crosswalk installation and signs for safer travel on the path, signage at the lake and ball field, the Crofton Meadows entrance signs, landscaping maintenance of several large grassy areas and fields, and maintenance of the benches, trash cans and other amenities throughout. Crofton Meadows also has the pleasure of hosting the holiday horse carriage rides at the Crofton Meadows Elementary winter festival each year in December which has been on hiatus for a while due to the unavailability of carriage companys, school closings, and the PTA not holding the festival.

As you can see, the Crofton Meadows HOA provides a very beneficial service which helps to maintain property values, create a sense of pride in the community and also provides a place for families to come together and enjoy all of the wonderful amenities.

Sincerely,
The Crofton Meadows Homeowners Association Board of Directors
